GROUP FIDDLE CLASS: INTRO TO BLUEGRASS FIDDLE
Targeted at violinists / fiddlers who are comfortable playing tunes in first position, this course will use common bluegrass songs to teach the role of the fiddle in a bluegrass setting, the do's and don't of backing up a singer, and how to "take a break" and play fills. We'll touch on a little bit of improvising (it will be fun, I promise!) and learn the standard etiquette of a bluegrass jam.
