Roberson Museum & Science Center
SUPER REALISTIC LAYOUT BUILDING AND MODEL CLASS
In this one hour class, children (ages 8 and up) and parents will practice a variety of techniques for making the buildings on their railroad layouts look very realistic. This hour-long session will engage you in working with both wood and styrene plastic to create effects simulating weathered siding, rusted surfaces, aged signs, and realistic approaches to highly detailed scenes. Please dress accordingly; this session is messy. Materials are provided. Families can take home the pieces they work on.
