United Cultural Fund 2012 Campaign Goal
$308,325

"Where the arts go, improvement follows"
--Fred Xlander, Chairman
    BCAC Board of Directors

BCAC's United Cultural Fund is the only active locally-supported, combined campaign for the arts in south central New York. Charitable contributions to the UCF are 100% tax deductible and directly fund grants to non-profit arts organizations, community groups, and to individual artists in Broome County. UCF grantees produce arts, music and educational programming that serve more than 200,000 Broome County residents and visitors each year, including about 60,000 children and youth. UCF grantees return more than $4,000,000 annually to Broome County's economy. The UCF provides an effective, centralized mechanism by which donors -- including governments, foundations, businesses and individuals -- can contribute to the arts in our community. The arts are a recognized driver of community and economic development and a defining characteristic of life here in Greater Binghamton and Broome County. The UCF helps sustain our cultural and economic vitality and quality of life.
