The Connelly Gallery The Connelly Gallery is located within Binghamton's historic State Street district in the A. L. Willey Building, constructed in 1913 on the former site of the Chenango Canal. When the Willey Building was originally built it was part of the cigar manufacturing district in Binghamton. The Connellys historically rehabilitated the building in 1990 and presently house their art gallery and antiques store on the first floor with artist studios on the second floor. Currently the third and forth floors are being converted into four more artist studios as an important part of the exciting new Greater Binghamton Arts Renaissance. The Connelly Gallery is an integral component of Bob & Sallie Connelly's Antique business, which they founded in 1966. The Connelly Gallery is unique amongst the area's art galleries in that they feature both 19th and 20th as well as 21st Century art for sale. They also offer a full range of services for the art connoisseur from certified professional appraisals to consignment sales and brokering of important pieces via major art auction houses. Another element of their unique services is their auction company through which they have sold major art collections including the permanent collection from the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum of Ridgeway Connecticut, as well of several major corporate art collections. If you would like to receive notices of upcoming art auctions or related events sign-up through their website or at their gallery, open weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM.
